St. Joseph's Nurses Society

During National Nurses Week, May 6-12, we pause to recognize and celebrate the vast contributions and positive impact that nurses have on our health and in our community every day.

St. Joseph’s nurses are advocates and healers, committing themselves to caring for their patients with technical skill, empathy and kindness. Now, more than ever, we have seen these courageous caregivers act with compassion and dignity toward our neighbors, friends and family.

Established in 2017, St. Joseph’s Nurses Society was created to support and promote fellowship and continued education for past, current, and future nurses.

St. Joseph’s Nurses Society support helps ease financial barriers to continuing education so that nurses may focus on exploring their aspirations, fulfilling their greatest potential, and transforming the future of health care. The Society also supports service and outreach projects to impact the greater Stockton community.

How do I join?

Become a Nurses Society member with an annual tax-deductible gift of $100 or more.

Any current, former, or retired nurse at St. Joseph’s Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Behavioral Health Center can become a member. We also encourage membership from non-nurse employees, physicians, and community members (it's a great way to show your gratitude to the nurses who are diligently working to keep our community safe and healthy!).

In addition to knowing you are a valued member of the Society, membership benefits also include:

  • Recognition on Foundation website and newsletter
  • Exclusive invitations to member-only and hospital-sponsored events
  • Professional and networking opportunities
  • Ability to make a difference in our community

Your gift can be in the form of cash, check, credit card or employee payroll deduction. Make a secure gift online below or download a paper application form here.
